Description:
- Working as part of the engineering team the Senior Project Engineer will be the company contact with clients on their projects
- Attendance at all project meetings both internal and with clients
- Maintenance of an accurate job costing and delivery model
- As a design engineering company, DEC models its equipment using Autodesk Inventor. Training will be provided for this software package if the candidate is not familiar with the package
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, using both your knowledge and experience
- Adhere to DEC Quality Management System to ensure efficient project results
- Worldwide site visits and offshore visits as required by the job
Experience & Attributes:
- Skilled as a Mechanical Project Engineer with relevant practical experience
- Accustomed to dealing with mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Present a professional manner with integrity at all times
- A problem solver and ability to look beyond the problem
- A logical thinker, someone who is not afraid to take calculated risks
- Ability to work as part of a team with their own initiative
- A practical “hands-on” approach
- Fully competent with Microsoft Office
- Experience of using Autodesk Inventor/Vault and Ansys Workbench FEA would be an advatage
