Richard is the spirit and inspiration behind Dynamic Equipment Company (DEC).

With 10 years of engineering experience behind him, Richard saw that there was an opportunity for a new business to emerge specialising in bespoke engineering and building equipment.

After meeting Simon Newberry, the pair joined together to build on the concept and plan of forming DEC. In 2000 their dream turned into a reality. Albeit on a small scale, Richard and Simon began their idea of a business and fought against larger rivals to secure clients.

With the commitment, knowledge and enthusiasm between the two men, DEC has grown strength-on-strength each year. Over the eight years they have built a solid company that deals with global energy leaders, as well as small businesses that require their services.

Richard’s strengths include his drive, ambition, knowledge and problem solving capabilities. As the Managing Director of DEC, he is involved in all aspects of the company from the client pitch process, design solutions, business management and overseeing project management.

His vision is to make DEC a highly-respected business on an international scale. If this is reflected with the clients that are attracted to DEC today, he is well on the way to securing his ambition.

Richard is also a top-level motorcycle enduro rider, who has represented his country three times at the International Six Day Enduro.
